Cornwall Food Edition board game

Cornwall Food Edition board game map is the last addition to the Martamaps games family.

Spring started and that's the moment when many Food Fests take place around Cornwall, so I thought this was the perfect moment to introduce this new game which is Food themed!

The game is based on the illustrated map of the whole of Cornwall and it's all about food! A culinary journey through the County, discovering all the most famous dishes you can find in Cornwall. All the challenges to moving forward are related to Cornish delicacy, from the iconic Pasty to the Stargazy pie, through the Saffron cake and the Clotted cream on scones. The aim is to get first to Lands End and during the race, the players will learn Cornish words and face fun and interactive challenges related to Cornish food like pretending to bake a pasty or milk a cow to make Yarg cheese or mimic the sound of a hungry seagull.

The map features many of the most iconic Cornish landmarks, such as the Eden Project, St Michael Mount, Tate St Ives, Lands End, Pendennis Castle, Bodmin Jail and all the most loved Cornish towns like St Ives, Falmouth, Penzance, Padstow, Truro, Newquay, etc..

As an Italian, food is kind of a religion for me so I absolutely loved celebrating the great Cornish food with this game.

Like all the other Martamaps board games Strolling Cornwall Food edition is plastic free, designed in Cornwall and made with paper and wood for all the Cornish food lovers out there!

Let me know if you like this new tasty new game.
